Frequently asked questions.
P-01Do I need permits to set up a glamping site?
It depends on your municipality, the land use and, in natural areas, environmental rules. We point you to what to check before you start; permits and licenses are handled by the project owner, unless you hire us for that service.
P-02Do they hold up to rain, wind and cold?
They're built to stand outdoors. The Wood Lodge and the Luxury Safari Lodge, for example, have a 660 g/m² fire-retardant PVC roof over a pine and fir timber frame. When we advise you, we look at your area's climate to recommend the right model.
P-03What upkeep do they need?
The care set out in each structure's manual, including what to do in strong wind, snow, heavy rain or off-seasons. We walk you through it when we hand over your project.
P-04How long do they last?
It depends on the model, the climate and the upkeep. As a reference, the Wood Lodge spec sheet gives a service life of 8 to 10 years.
P-05What does the quote include, and what doesn't it?
Every quote is in writing and spells out what it covers for your project: model, equipment, interiors, handling, foundation or platform, utilities, transport and assembly. Unless stated otherwise, it doesn't include taxes, permits, licenses, studies, civil works beyond the structure, or utility hookups.
P-06How long does it take?
Installation takes days, once your land is ready and the materials are on site. The total time, from order to your first guest, depends on manufacturing and shipping: we give you an estimate in the quote.
P-07How does payment work?
Your order is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and pay the deposit stated in it; the payment schedule and methods are set in the quote or contract. We issue an invoice (CFDI) for every payment and only take payments into accounts in the name of GLAMPINGCO, S. de R.L. de C.V. that we confirm to you in writing.
P-08Is there a warranty?
Yes. The structures carry the manufacturer's warranty, under the terms and periods of the document delivered with each project, and our installation is guaranteed as set in the quote or contract. To use it, write to ventas@glampingco.mx with photos and your delivery record.
